The hotel description said located on the Parkway which it was only its the East Parkway and not the main drag of Gatlinburg. You had to walk a good distance to get downtown and driving isn't a option due to extremely limited parking. The hotel is also made up of two buildings on at street level and the other is on a hill. Every morning I had to walk down the hill for breakfast and then walk back up to the room.
Budget-friendly, if all the thing I list over what I didn't like, then this hotel is pretty nice to stay. (Didn't try out their breakfast)
I reserved for a 1 room with 2 queen beds but the front desk guy didn't honestly tell me it was out when I got there and put me in a double bed room (did offer queen the second day as said by the front desk, but I wasn't in the room all day. I didn't find out until I check out on the 3rd days). Didn't get a discount on this eventhough it should be a price different of $10 per night. Drainage in the shower was very very slow to empty out water from tub when shower. Heaters wasn't strong enough. Wifi is to complicate and hard to pick up. (Have mention all the above to front desk). Front desk told me price of the room is the same price while the night before I ask the front desk said there is a $10 different. Front desk need to be honest more to the customer.
Everything, the fridge was not working, the ice machine was broke, bathroon was nasty as though it had not been clean in a very long time. The fireplace was very old and run down . bed was very wrinkle looked like someone had laid on it. Tv was not working .having to walk up and down the hill which was very steep was not fun was there to relax. Breakfast was the cheapest ever, waffels were horrible, juices were water down and so was the syurp. This hotel is in a very need of a upgrade it is very old and run down all so very nasty and the staff are very rude and unkind will not stay there again, as we checked out we explaine to the clerk all the problems we had but they didnt care just nodded .
